Artistic swimming (also known as synchro) is a combination of gymnastics, acrobatics, dance and swimming. It requires coordination, flexibility, stamina and team spirit.
Our coaches take great care to teach artistic swimming skills in a fun way and we believe in starting early with swimming to music.
Our junior section is 3 years old and our swimmers are practising for artistic swimming grades 1 and 2. We took part in the Sussex Championships with great success. The Brighton Festival Fringe Show in May is a big part of our calendar.

A welcoming, committed and diverse club, we are currently the largest Masters artistic swimming club in England. Our swimmers range from 18 to over 60, and range in ability from beginners to experienced. We regularly compete in the solo, duet, team and combination routine disiciplines in the annual Swim England National Masters Championships, and various other national and international events. A hightlight of the year is the annual Brighton Festival Fringe Show, our biggest event.
Artistic swimming is great fun. Combining gymnastics, acrobatics, dance, and swimming, it is a challenging but rewarding sport involving breath control, coordination and teamwork. We have great fun with the music themes, and make sure that there is a space for everyone to get involved. Our beginners’ combination routine won Gold at the 2019 National Masters.
